Why is sustainable development important?

The importance of this approach is since we live in a world with limited resources. We all want future generations to be able to benefit from these resources by using them effectively. By presenting the SDGs as a global guide, the UN encourages countries, civil society, the private sector, and other stakeholders to cooperate in achieving sustainable development goals.
The UN also helps countries formulate and implement sustainable development policies. It tracks progress through data collection, monitoring, and reporting mechanisms. It also takes the lead in tackling global environmental challenges such as climate change and promotes international cooperation. The UN's role in sustainable development can be summarized as bringing together the efforts of the international community to work towards a more just, healthy, and sustainable future.
Sustainable Development Goals
The Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) consist of 17 main goals adopted by the United Nations in 2015, which aim to promote sustainable development worldwide by 2030. These development goals aim to both improve people's quality of life and protect the environment.
The Sustainable Development Goals include a wide range of targets, such as ending poverty, combating hunger, ensuring good health and good education for all, promoting gender equality, ensuring access to clean water and sanitation, promoting clean energy, sustaining economic growth, equitable distribution of jobs and industrial opportunities, developing sustainable infrastructure, reducing inequalities, sustainable urbanization, sustainable consumption and production, climate action, protecting underwater and terrestrial ecosystems, and working towards peace and justice. The common point of all of them is to build a fairer, healthier, and more sustainable world.

In the area of "using technology to build a resilient infrastructure and fostering innovation", we are carrying out our proactive solutions management initiative. By utilizing artificial intelligence, we take necessary actions before our customers' failures occur. We use different tools of technology (big data, machine learning, artificial intelligence, virtual reality) in remote services, mining technologies, and Boom360, and we continue the tradition of innovation with all our colleagues through our Solution Hub intrapreneurship initiative.
In the field of "Competent Workforce and Efficient Service", we work with competent engineers and technicians designed with gender equality in mind, and we develop together by recruiting young talents.
